When learning to play a musical instrument, it is very common to feel like you aren't getting anywhere.

 

Beginners usually need help to learn the basics, but also people who can already play can feel like they reached a plateau.
 

In fact nearly everyone who learns an instrument will experience this at some point. Sometimes getting some helpful pointers from a teacher can help you get over this hurdle.

Tuition - Beginners to Advanced

I have been a professional performing musician and guitar teacher since the 1970s.

I teach a variety of styles, including reading tablature, technique, songs, finger picking, strumming, rock, jazz, scale theory, ear training.

I can help you progress and build your guitar skills to better levels.

I also try to include music that students want to learn to play.

As well as teaching in person at my studio in Coolum, I offer Skype lessons for $20 per half hour.
